What Does Masonry Mean To Me? – A view by a new member

Bro Warren Phillips as an EAF with WM R Woods at the Installation of W Bro Woods

Bro Warren Phillips was asked, What does Free Masonry mean to you? As the newest member of Bedic Lodge who has now taken his second regular step in Free Masonry, his views on membership and friendship are invaluable for candidates looking to join a lodge

“I first joined the Freemason’s as I had heard a lot about it and wanted to feel like I was a part of something other than work and outside my own friendship circle .

Becoming a Mason has been one of the best things I have done in my life . Being a Mason has given me the opportunity to be with like minded people and feel part of an organisation that has been around for hundreds of years . With a back ground that’s been kept secret to the outside world I am honoured to be a part of this community learning so much from the meetings and finding friendships in people I would never have met had I not been involved with Freemasonry.

When attending meetings, food is served to you which is always a very high standard 3 course meal, always exceptional thanks to the wonderful couple who cook for us, This is a path in my life that I am so glad I have chosen and will continue to grow with and the friendships I have made will last for a lot of years to come”

We always welcome enquiries from potential new members.  If you’d like to know more about Freemasonry in general or the Bedic lodge in particular, get in touch.
